One person in this world can make you happy and change your life. Guess who this person is? You are!

There is an incredible connection between how we choose to live our lives and the happiness we enjoy every day. But, unfortunately, you make choices every day that seem to have nothing to do with your joy but that have a dramatic impact on how you feel mentally and physically.

Usually, happiness or unhappiness is not related to the things you have, the places you are, or your past but how you see life and how you choose to live it.

In today's society, it is easy to overlook some of the smallest and simplest things that can radically change your level of happiness and overall fulfilment in life.

Here are the most important things to do to be truly happy:

1. Learn to be a good man again. Please pay attention to the people around you, help them when they need to, listen, smile.

2. Start filtering more and more noise into your life. Be careful who you give the microphone to. Don't listen to the one who has the loudest story. Listen to the one who tells the true story.

3. Start making the right choices. If you don't like a part of your life, it's time to start changing things and making better choices. Start now.

4. Start being more productive than busy. There is a significant distinction between being busy and being productive.

5. Take time for activities that put a smile on your face. It matters a lot what you do every day. Find out what helps you relax, find your true passions.

6. Learn to be present. Allow past thoughts to leave your mind. Live the moment now. Be present here and take advantage of the moment in front of you.

7. Replace worries with positive actions. Instead of worrying, take a step back, analyze the situation, and look for practical solutions to overcome your problem.

8. Allow love to fight your fear. There are only two energies at the base of human experience: love and fear. Fear distances you from what you want in life. Love attracts everything you want. So learn to give love without expecting anything from the people around you. Tell yourself that not all people can give as much love as you give. And that's okay.

9. Start doing what you feel is suitable for you - even if sometimes it's not the easiest option.

10. Learn not to compare yourself with anyone else. The only person you're competing with is you.
