The rock band Talking Heads, the female hip-hop group Salt-N-Pepa and the Latin singer Selena are among the artists who will be rewarded with special awards at the 2021 Grammy Awards gala. The announcement was made by representatives of The Recording Academy, the most prestigious trophies in the American music industry.
Ed Cherney, Benny Golson and Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds will be awarded the Trustees Award, and Daniel Weiss will be awarded a Grammy Trophy for Technical Merit.
