A new festival sees the light of day in 2021. Alive Festival is Borlänge's new festival which is planned for 8-10 July 2021.

The name "Alive" comes from the feeling you want to convey. The feeling when you stand in the audience and are enchanted by your favourite artist. The joy and energy that is created when people meet together and new unforgettable memories are created. The area will be in the green area next to Hagakyrkan and will be dimensioned for 10,000 visitors per day. The festival will have four stages.

One of the biggest news today is that the organizer has, together with the ticket company Tickster, developed a new type of ticket that is guaranteed fully refundable in case the festival can not be held in 2021. The concept is available on all tickets that are issued. Regardless of which ticket you buy, you are guaranteed a full refund if the festival is cancelled. The purchase is made via the ticket company Tickster or via the website alivefestival.se .

For the organizers, it has been obvious from the start to involve Dalapop and the valleys' regional cultural life. Dalapop is a regional resource and production centre to support actors in popular music in Dalarna County, Sweden. Dalapop strengthens the regional music industry.

Early in the process, the renowned Borlänge agency Humblebrag was contacted. A long-term collaboration has been started to be able to build up Alive Festival together, with everything from strategy to design and communication.

The organizers have been very well received by the municipality and see the opportunities to collaborate. "Borlänge is a fantastic event city and it has received us well and helped us to move forward," says festival manager Patrik Ekman.

The festival will have one of the region's largest mobile amusement parks outside the festival area and even there will be a children's stage that is free for visitors.
