Visitors can enjoy panoramic scenery during their drive between Chandigarh and Shimla and Manali. Travel north from Chandigarh toward Shimla by using the NH 5 route for 3 to 4 hours. Travel through Shimla by visiting the Ridge followed by shopping on Mall Road before visiting the holy site of Jakhoo Temple. After leaving Shimla travelers should take NH 3 onwards for seven to eight hours through Kullu Valley.
