We only had to wait a few minutes for our Contabo account to be activated. The VPS ordering process was equally simple, taking less than 30 seconds. Contabo prioritizes the operating system choices over the order. After the order has been completed, an employee inspects it. We received an email with the server login details and our VPS plan was enabled in 25 minutes (while we were on vacation).
Contabo makes setup simple in general, however, the user interface isn't constantly up to date.
